Usually, when I lose touch in life, when I feel “off,” or in whatever way lose my direction, I usually need to do a bit of housecleaning in order to reconnect with who I am. The housecleaning could be literal, as in cleaning my room, or digital, as in fixing my email: Continue Reading »
Do you have an inkling what’s inside that plastic bag?
Yes, I know it looks like garbage.
It IS garbage.
But it’s more than garbage… Continue Reading »
I recently went to Manila to meet with my The Digerati Life boss. It was fun, it was a welcome change, but it was also stressful and hectic. It was also dog-eared with epiphanies. All in all, I feel like it was a fruitful trip, even if I didn’t get to meet a few people I promised to meet.
Here’s the account of the things that happened, highlights only, of my six days in Manila.

Hi there. If you used to follow this blog, thank you. It’s finally “back from the dead,” so to speak.
I nearly lost the whats-hot.org domain after having a hard time finding spare money for resurrecting it. Domains In Seconds, a sister company of Go Daddy, has this sick practice of charging a premium for people who have let their domains expire. I knew for a fact that I could still regain a domain even after the owner has gone past the renewal date. There’s around a 45 or 90 day grace period, depending on your domain registrar. The thing is, I didn’t know that Domains In Seconds a.k.a. Go Daddy would charge you a whopping $80 for regaining a domain you’ve bought only for $10.
As of this moment, I’m sapping up the last 30 minutes of business time that Starbucks offered. I was told that for this day, Starbucks will be open up to 1AM. Because I was not able to finish working on one of my tasks because of technical difficulties, I had to look for better Internet connection. I found Starbucks.
I came in at 11:40PM, and thought about staying on until 2AM. Alas and alack, however, it’s open only up to 1AM, as its regular operating hours are only up to 12MN. So, as I said, I’m only good to go here for only another 30 minutes more.
I’m going to be here on Boracay Island for the next 29/28 days of my existence. To bring you up to speed, I got a job as an Executive Assistant for a research company on the island. It’s a new company, and it’s an exciting time in their corporate history, as it’s scaling up and the opportunity for growth is huge.
It’s kind of halftime at work and I’m not in the mood to go forward with a bit more of link harvesting. I’m actually plotting some of the tweets for my boss and I’m getting a little bored. Hard to understand how I could even get bored with such an easy/interesting job, but I am. Getting a little stuck, I mean. LOL.
So anyway, I was starting a “little braindump” here on my tumblr, but it got a little too long for a Tumbl-log, so I decided to take it here.
So, where were we?

Celestial Fireworks -- Coz God Always Does It Better Than We Do! (Check out the shape: it's almost like a heart. :p)
If you’re as old as I am, you’ve probably heard of The Cardigans. And you may have heard of their song, “Erase and Rewind.” However, the title of today’s post has a twist: Erase And Fast Forward.
Not that I’m in a hurry to move on to the future, but I just wanted to put forth a few thoughts that have been begging to come out for a while now.

I just got done with my last post on the 30-day blog challenge that I did to get started on a new lease in my blogging life, and I’m psyched to do more! But before I get ahead of myself, I’d like to talk about a few things that’s on my mind. Just to do a classic, no-holds-barred braindump. LOL.
It’s going to be a quick read, I promise.
So. I’m finally ending my “30 Day Blog Challenge” List because it’s mid-December 2010 and my 30 days are beyond up. LOL.
I got stuck on Day 29 last week because I could not figure out what is that something that I could never get tired of doing. Day 29 asks me to talk about, you guessed it, “something I could never tire of doing.”
Of all the things I don’t think I’ll ever stop doing, it’ll have to be…
